Jina Lee5 StarJust changed to a new dentist. Every time I go to the dentist, I get so nervous because it’s hit or miss with the pain depending on what doctor you get. Dr. Tran was so personable, nice and professional. I asked him about a filling for a gap in between teeth and he said I t’s not recommendable because it’s going to mess up my gums. I’ve been going to the dentist for 40 years and seldom you’re gonna come across someone who is honest and professional. I felt very well taken care of. Two thumbs up!!!!Saturday 17th February 2024
joanrsm3 StarThe dentist himself was competent. The surroundings not so much. To begin, the X-ray room chair faced directly and closely into the wall so my feet had no where to be, there was a foot stand on the chair but my foot couldn’t go there either because of the wall and something under the chair right under me. The cushion was all torn and old. Also in X-ray room i f I didn’t stare straight at the wall in my face I looked directly into a hallway storage closet with like 50 lab coats hanging on door, which couldn’t possibly have been closed. Not a good look. I spent a long time in that chair waiting as the tech came in and out- I think she was new and couldn’t figure out the computer. Also as I pointed out to her, there was a plastic piece directly poking me in the eye as she x-rayed, I think it’s where the shooter part is to be positioned but it definitely was not supposed to be in my eyeball, 4 different positions that happened, though when I told her I believed it was not supposed to be poking me in the eye she did bend it an inch or so out of my eye for the last 2. She was oblivious to me which makes me just hope she was new and nervous, possibly a student?
There was rust on all the machines in the exam room and there was no proper headrest on exam chair at first, again I waited probably 40 minutes or so and was very uncomfortable during initial stuff like polishing then finally asked tech if I could have a pillow to support my head or I’d need to leave . The minute the dentist came in he adjusted the headrest which had been folded the opposite direction, hence not supporting my head. Then I could sit. Hopefully I just caught them on a bad day with new employees, otherwise I can’t see how they stay in business. In terms of being outdated, I needed to go over to sink to rinse and spit- I haven’t done that in 20 years.
Things seemed clean however and all the normal tools came in a sealed bag, so sanitary. Just very dated facility and I write this off as a disaster, will never return.
A few of the employees were fine, meaning able, but none were personable at all. Receptionists were ok though 2 people had little interactions with them while I waited in waiting room a short time. Whose fault I’m not sure.
The headrest situation was intolerable. The best girl there is the one who got me the pillow but the dentist simply came in later and set it up correctly without me saying a word about my head. He could see me, I felt the other staff couldn’t. I had been sitting supporting my head with my hands while lying backwards in a half sit-up until she got me the pillow-really a towel roll. (As you can tell I spent lots of time waiting in rooms so I had much time to observe the facilities.).
I did get out after 1-1/2 hour once I told them I had to get going ….after they said they’d be back “in a bit” for like the 6th time between the 2 rooms I was in. I didn’t want them to leave me again. Not efficient at all. To be fair, in retrospect I think the one girl I mentioned that was helpful was probably very overwhelmed so maybe short staffed or trying to cover for others? I only know my side of the story and she probably did not understand why I was getting upset because she didn’t see what I’d gone through. She at least tried to correct the head situation.Monday 20th May 2024
James Chang5 StarI have been patient with bright now dental more than 20 yrs.
Specially, Dr. Tran is my primary dentist. I’m very confident with his treatment , which is excellent!Thursday 11th April 2024
erdem denktas3 StarI asked for 59 $ If the X-ray is panaromic they said yes, during registering I asked again they said yes. But inside they took 2-3 pictures at a time.bad attitude and on the
Phone they said most of the doctors do implants but actually they don’t..Saturday 18th May 2024
Nooshin1 StarDr. Tran is wonderful and know him for a long time . He is a very good dentist and always on time.My bad experience is with hygienist and front desk.During one month canceled my appointments for 2 times. First time I got there even before my appointment time. I was waiting for more than 45 minutes and still hygienist was with patient during my appointment time.so I had to leave the office because for another appointment that I had and I did reschedule. Today I was there 14 minutes late because of traffic. When I got there they canceled my appointment because I was late for 14 minutes. No office canceled the appointment only for 14 minutes and again she was working with another patient in my appointment time. I think isn’t worth it to waste your time for just one cleaning. If she is late is ok but if patient is late they cancel the appointment without telling the patient They think only their time is valuable not a patient time. Plus don’t trust on the text that you receive to confirm your appointment because according to the front desk is spam and they have no control on it. Soooo ridiculousSaturday 9th December 2023
