DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE CONTRACTED THROUGH THEM WITH A DMO!! My 22-year-old daughter was the first to try out my dental insurance through SunLife DMO and made her appointment. After taking x-rays and a very brief look inside her mouth, they sent in the office manager with a $6K+ bill, financing info and a request she provide them with a credit card. They told her she needed two root canals, one by a specialist (that possibly would just be an extraction), 2 crowns, 9 cavities and EXTENSIVE gum work, including $900 worth of antibiotics. She called me in a panic and I told her to ask them to just clean her teeth, they refused. I told her to ask for her x-rays and to leave, and they refused to give her her x-rays. We have a friend who is a dentist but geographically challenging. She called and he was able to fit her in later that afternoon. She took the treatment plan which she managed to leave with and drive to east Riverside to see our friend. He could NOT believe the charges. He did his own x-rays and a full exam of her mouth and determined she needed 1 root canal/ crown, she had two cavities and that there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with her gums. Full bill (with no insurance) would be about $1600 (no discount). Two days later we decided to have my husband follow through at the same location with an appointment he had already made. He too had x-rays and brief look inside his mouth. A few minutes later the office manager came in and had a $5K bill in her hand and offers of financing-- root canals, cavities, gum work. He told them he just wanted his teeth cleaned, and again, they refused. In all honesty, the 2nd visit by my husband was more of a test because my daughter felt a great deal of high sales pressure the day she was there. Before she decided to leave, they insisted she pay and that they start the work that day. They told her they would not do a cleaning without starting on her cavities and other prep work. My understanding is that DMO (Dental Maintenance Organization) insurance is where dentists contract with the insurance company to do certain procedures at extremely low costs. You could say, "how do they afford to do that?" And I would suggest perhaps they are taking advantage of people by pushing for excessive and apparently unnecessary dental procedures. This may be a perfectly acceptable dental office (though I have my doubts) if you are not part of their roster of contracted DMO patients, but if you are a DMO patient/ client, do NOT go to this office.

Although everybody did best but still the wait time is way too long less doctors for patients and they really need to work on it and it’s also really expensive. Went to this dentist for my crown redo but instead they said it’s cleaning and will charge you $50 deductible although before taking treatment of my two filling we make sure that we paid everything on our end but they said we are sorry we didn’t tell you that before that cleaning with filling include $50 deductible individual but Sonia she was really nice she treated me so nicely as always and understands that it was their mistake and she also said you don’t need to pay so i didn’t pay $50 that day really thankful to Sonia 🙂😊
