I visited TruDental due to pain caused by another dentist's office, and Dr. Kang skillfully addressed all my issues. I am truly grateful for his expertise and care! Dr. Kang was thorough in examining my teeth, and took the time to explain the state of my oral health. I was impressed by the level of attention and professionalism. Also, the staff was welcoming and friendly, and the office was clean and modern. I have decided to begin Invisalign treatment at TruDental and I will definitely be returning for all of my future dental needs. Overall, my experience at TruDental was extremely positive and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Kang as my dentist. Even though it's been a few years since I started going to Trudental, I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time but kept putting it off! Dr. Kang is always clear and gentle in his explanations, which instantly puts me at ease during every visit. His approach to dental care is truly exceptional—he genuinely cares about making sure I'm comfortable and pain-free throughout treatment. What I appreciate most is that Dr. Kang always makes an effort to save my teeth instead of immediately opting for extraction. He treats my teeth with the same care and attention as if they were his own. During my regular cleanings, I’m always so relaxed that it almost feels like I could fall asleep! That’s something I never thought I’d say about a dental visit. Dr. Kang has an amazing way of turning what could be a stressful experience into a calm, comfortable one, and I’m so thankful to have him as my dentist.

Dr. Kang and his entire staff have been nothing but great since I first visited in April 2022. Prior to that, I have not been to any dentist in 4 years so I needed a lot of work done. I had a deep cleaning, new fillings, wisdom teeth removed, and routine cleanings ever since. Dr. Kang was very transparent and has a zen approach throughout the entire experience. Before I was always nervous to go to the dentist (hence the long gap of dental visit) but now I look forward to going. I am glad I found his dentist practice and would recommend Dr.Kang for anyone looking for a new dentist. Also shout out to the lovely red hair front desk lady, best appointment setter and teeth polisher.

I came to this Dental office with pain and ready to be disappointed with the previous dental office experience I had at another place. Dr. Kang did not disappoint, he fixed all necessary issues I had. I have had no pain and my appointments have been great experiences (I actually fell asleep). He is always clear, honest and straight to the point. I have referred family to him knowing they will be in good hands, can't recommend him enough.

UPDATED 2ND VISIT REVIEW My second visit to TruDental for my scheduled cleaning ended up with my first cavity in years! Not surprising, since I struggle with daily flossing but thankfully Dr. Kang was amazing as ever. I'm not embarrassed to admit that I'm pretty sensitive to pain and was nervous about the local anesthetics, but somehow it was so hard to believe that I didn't feel a thing. Dr. Kang definitely has great technique since I think I kind of feel asleep during the procedure also. Again, great staff and service! At my previous experiences with other dental offices, the dentist would just tell me "you have a cavity so we need to fill it." Dr. Kang actually takes the time to show you high resolution photos of the issues and goes over why it happens and what we need to do to fix it and how to prevent it. He and his staff definitely show a lot of care even if it's a minor cavity issue. I definitely know that I can trust him and TruDental for any future issues or serious problems. I highly recommend if you are looking for great dentist with amazing technique and care! 1st VISIT REVIEW BELOW I've been looking for a new dental office for awhile since my dentist in Newport Beach moved and decided to go with my parent's dentist. Normally I'm very hesitant with any recommendation from my older parents and expected an old dental office from my childhood days. I have to admit the first thought I had when arriving was how modern and clean Trudental was. It felt like a high end luxury clinic. The waiting area even had amenities such as beverages for patients available. The staff was very nice and friendly. Dr. Kang is one of the most honest and kind dentists that I have met. I've experienced some that were either pushy with procedures or treatments that may have been unnecessary or others that just made me feel guilty for not flossing as much as I should. Dr. Kang was very organized and thorough with is examination. He took time out to explain to me areas that I was doing well in and things I would need to think about or worry if it got worse. Since it was my first time, he would ask throughout the procedure how I felt to gauge my discomfort level. I work in healthcare and I can tell Dr. Kang really puts his patients first and is very knowledgeable in his field. COVID precautions were also very well performed. The staff check your temperature on arrival and everyone was gowned and masked the entire time. I was the only patient in the office and I felt very safe during my visit. I definitely will be making this my new dental office and highly recommend Dr. Kang for any dental needs.
